Presenting the Cordoba C5-CE

A staple in the Iberia series, the C5-CE features a solid Canadian cedar top and mahogany back and sides. The construction is based upon the traditional Spanish classical guitar with the exception of a soft cutaway and a slightly thinner neck. The Fishman Isys+ 2band pickup system produces a rich and natural sound when amplified – perfect for gigging and recording. Handmade in the traditional Spanish style, the C5-CE also features an all wood inlaid rosette, rosewood binding, hand-carved headstock, fan bracing system, and bone nut and saddle.

Why the C5-CE?

The best-selling C5-CE follows the style the traditional Spanish build, with the addition of a soft cutaway and Fishman Isys+ pickup, with an onboard tuner. The combination of the solid cedar top with mahogany back and sides gives the C5-CE a warm, round sound.

The Fishman Isys+

Fishman’s Isys Onboard Preamp Systems are dedicated to providing maximum value in a small footprint. These preamp systems feature Volume, Tone shaping, and Phase controls (see photo); a pre-wired Fishman Sonicore pickup and low profile control knobs. A separate battery box is located near the bottom of the guitar. To conserve the battery, unplug the guitar when it is not in use.
